Crossing the line

Ever do something that you just know crosses the line between frugal and cheap?

A few days ago, there was a vendor show at work, and they brought us a bunch of yummy delicious sandwiches. I stuffed myself silly!

So, yeah, this is a bad habit of mine. Often times, I would gorge myself so I would not have to spend more money on food later. Or if I do eat, it tends to be unhealthy junk food. And when it comes to buffet restaurants, it's actually not as hard to do as it sounds.

I don't know, I'm going to try to space out smaller meals throughout the day, even if it ends up costing a bit more. So, care to fess up anything you do that you know is cheap as well?

I eat the food at work. SHH, don't tell on me! They always have Dannon Light and Fit yogurt and if I forget to pack...Also the women in the kitchen hand out leftovers all the time. I also sneak food into movies, (pop and candy) but we buy popcorn.

We are notorious for bringing "contraband" into the theatre - that being theatre candy purchased at Aldi's. Good and Plenty for $.69 versus $1.75. Then multiply it by seven (average number of movie goers that we have).

And our theatre has free refills on drinks/popcorn. We go for refills one at a time (DH/myself/older daughters).

My MIL takes all the jelly and sugar packets from restaurants. She also asks for a bag to take all the rolls for the baskets because they can't be reused.

I check CDs out of the library and rip them for my MP3 player. I also go to the Hype Machine and collect MP3s from there.
