No fracking way!

Sorry for the pseudo swearing there, but I'm just absolutely blown away by the new Battlestar Galactica. I finally made it to season 4.5, but can't watch it on Blu-ray! I don't know why, but I'm betting it's some kind of Cylon encryption. The disc works just fine, even the bonus footages, until you get to the actual episodes. I've had Netflix send me two copies, but both failed the exact same way.

My PC is my only Blu-ray player. I don't have a standalone unit.

The chills.... Must be BSG withdrawal. Don't know what to do. Gotta have my fix!

    Whoa...you must.find.a.working.dvd. Such a good show! If push comes to shove, you can always try sidereel - just remember to click on the ones under the magnifying glass link (read as: free) and have every pop-up blocker in the world up and running lol

    You know what? I'm willing watch this thing in DVD. I wonder if Netflix has it in DVDs? I don't recall it being an option for some reason. Will check when I get home.

    We had the same bizarre problem with renting "The Brothers Grimm" from Netflix. We gave up after 2 or 3 DVD discs were unplayable. We finally got it on DVR recently, so we plan to watch it over the holiday weekend. Good luck!

    After you finish the series, don't miss the prequel -- Caprica. It's fantastic!

    Actually, I didn't know the order of these movies, except that they had long wait, so I went ahead and grabbed them whenever they were available in Netflix. So, I've already seen Caprica, and you're right, it's terrific!
