*
Ran across this license plate on the internet and thought it'd be fun to share it.* While I'm here, I also ran across this cheap laptop. In fact, it's the cheapest I've ever seen being sold.
The downside to it is that it's a 300mhz machine running Windows CE. What that translates to is that it's only good for very basic online stuff like reading online text, email, and static images. Well, that and running any Windows CE apps out there (which includes old, mobile versions of Microsoft Office). So, if that's all you need, maybe this is a great value.
Also, I think the laptop has to be shipped from Hong Kong? So, shipping will add to the total cost.
* Finally a more... philosophical question if I may. How frugal is frugal enough?
Lately, I haven't been cooking at home. I know I should, but I don't, even though I'm debt-free, cash-positive, and my savings rate is almost 60%.
I've been justifying it in the sense that I have very little splurges or thrills beyond this. But, am I also rationalizing? Yes, I believe I am.
As a result, I have to ask myself, "Am I really a true frugal? Or more like a selective, part-time frugal? What does it mean to be frugal? What does it take to be frugal? How frugal is frugal enough?"
What do you think?
